Intuition and the Skin
The theme for April is Intuition. (You can see my crystal grid video for Intuition here.)
How can we apply this theme of “Intuition” to our skin? Let’s start by taking a look at the definition of the word:

noun: intuition
the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.
Or in other words, that gut feeling you get when you just “know” something. And you “know” more than you know:)
Our skin is pretty smart. It provides protection from environmental stress and conveys information about our inner health and well-being. This fragile yet vital organ, with functions as significant as our heart and lungs, is very much alive, and its role in our health cannot be overstated.
After over 20 years of studying and working in the skincare profession, my clients are continually amazed at how much I can “intuit” or “read” their skin.
Am I using my intuition? Yes, sometimes, coupled with my knowledge of Oriental Facial Diagnostics.
A pimple on the tip of your nose; Have you experienced heartbreak lately?
Broken capillaries on your cheeks; Do you suffer from asthma?
Vertical lines between your eyebrows; Are you dealing with unresolved anger?
When you wake up with a pimple, a rash or other skin sensitivities, perhaps you can allow your intuition to guide you. This means paying attention, listening and feeling. What is the small voice in your gut saying?
I encourage you to treat your skin with as much care and consciousness as any other vital organ and to trust that you have the answers within.
