THE CYCLE OF LIFE TAROT CARDS – (Court cards)
Tarot can help guide us as we navigate through difficult cycles in our life.
Pairing crystals with the different tarot cards help to expand our awareness and understanding of a given situation.
Each of the 4 suits in tarot has a corresponding set of Cycle of Life Cards that represent a progression of who and where we are in our process. In traditional tarot, these are represented as male and female characters that depict levels of maturity.
In The Crystal Nature Tarot, I wanted to keep things gender neutral and to bring Mother Nature in. I was inspired by the life cycle of an apple tree. This cycle depicts the various stages of growth beautifully.
The Cycle of Life cards in the Crystal Nature Tarot are portrayed as the following:
SEED – The seed is the beginning phase of a process. It is developing and full of potential, enthusiasm, and motivation to survive. (Princess or Page)
Crystal Ally: Green Aventurine.
SPROUT – The sprout is full of energy and ambition, yet vulnerability also as it presents itself to the world. This phase passionately expresses itself by taking steps that represent what it has learned and gained after the internal process of being a seed. (Prince or Knight)
Crystal Ally: Charoite.
TREE – The tree represents the integration of the process of becoming and being in the world with a quiet and confident determination. The tree has deep roots which provide a practical foundation for stability, nurturance and internal strength. (Queen)
Crystal Ally: Moonstone.
FLOWER – The flower has reached a level of maturity since being planted and is proudly ready to reap the full benefits of the entire process. The flower has used intelligence and disciplined, clear action steps to get to this point in its growth. Feeling secure and powerful, the flower is rewarded with an abundance of fruit (King)
Crystal Ally: Sunstone.
When a Cycle of Life card is pulled, it can help shed light on where you are in your persoanl process and guide you toward what is needed for your internal growth.
